La Costa Brava, present al Saló de la Plongée de París 2026
The Costa Brava Diving Center Association was present at the Saló de la Plongée in Paris from 8 to 11 January 2026, one of the main international events dedicated to the world of diving, especially relevant for the French market.
This participation is part of the international promotion strategy for underwater tourism, with the aim of strengthening the visibility of the Costa Brava as a quality diving destination, supporting the direct marketing of associated centers and positioning the territory under criteria of sustainability, diversity of dives and professionalization of the sector.
Joint presence of diving centers
The Costa Brava had its own destination counter, which acted as a common information and promotion space, as well as the participation of nine diving centers spread along the coast, projecting a cohesive and diverse image of the underwater offer of the territory.
The participating centers were:
- Les Illes Diving – L’Estartit
- Andrea’s Diving – Tossa de Mar
- Port de la Selva Diving Center – Port de la Selva
- Cap de Creus Diving Center – Llançà
- Unisub Estartit – L’Estartit
- Begur Dive – Aiguablava (Begur)
- Costa Brava Divers – L’Estartit
- Dive Paradís – L’Escala
- Poseidon Diving – Calella de Palafrugell
This joint presence has allowed us to show the geographical richness and variety of dives offered by the Costa Brava, from the north to the south of the coast.
A growing show with a specialized audience
The Saló de la Plongée de Paris 2026 has confirmed its consolidation as the main meeting point for the diving sector in France, with more than 66,500 visits in four days and a clear presence of experienced divers, a profile that is especially interesting for the Costa Brava destination.
The audience was mostly French, the main market for divers to the Costa Brava, with visitors also from other European countries such as Belgium and Switzerland.
Very positive assessment
The participation in the Saló de la Plongée de Paris 2026 is assessed very positively, both for the volume and profile of visitors and for the projection obtained by the Costa Brava as a reference destination for diving. This action reinforces the international positioning of the sector and consolidates the joint work of the diving centers in the territory.
